Based out of our HQ Dubai Office for Asia, Middle East, and North Africa, we seek a Logistics Manager who will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategic logistic capability roadmap for the AMENA sector. The scope of strategy logistics capability includes outsourcing strategy for warehouse and transport operations, warehouse automation, transportation asset strategy, and technology enabler including gTMS and gWMS.

Main responsibilities:

- Leading design projects for Greenfield and strategic Brownfield warehouse storage and automation initiatives as well as partnering with Global SMEs and engaging external consultants as needed.
- A strong knowledge of detailed functional capabilities of the solution as well gTMS SME knowledge for the sector.
- Developing and executing gTMS rollout roadmap as well as ensuring the consistency of the leverage of the solution across the implemented market while sustaining process capability.
- Developing and executing WMS rollout roadmap as well as the maintenance of the consistent leverage of solutions across implemented markets while sustaining process capability.
- A strong knowledge of the detailed functional capabilities of WMS SME for the sector.
- Identifying and qualifying initiatives to maintain a pipeline of disruptive productivity enablers to feed the 7%+ annual productivity for the logistics spend like vehicle innovation, automated loading, etc.
- Serving as the sector logistics lead for cross-functional initiatives including Move or Sell collaboration as well as packaging density.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, mathematical science or operations research.
- At least eight years of experience in transport and warehouse operations with a minimum of five years experience in a multi-country regional capability development role
- FMCG logistics experience in a high volume shipping environment as well as design and operational experience with warehouse automation solutions without excluding ASRS, Shuttle systems, Voice Pick, Pick by light, automated picking, sorting and loading solutions.
- Expertise in industry standard TMS and WMS technology as part of an implementing team or as a super user.
- Experience in transportation fleets in a dedicated or owned operation with the excellent expertise of leading innovation and operational efficiency agenda.
