Your Tasks:

Technical support and maintenance of media and TV system installations in Singapore and SEA (Client installations)
Support Qvest Media sales and solution teams for the design of complex IT and AV systems
Collaborate with Qvest Media consulting team during customer engagement phase
On-site and remote service, telephone and e-mail support
Coordination and management of support cases with third party vendors and HQ support team, management of the client relationship
Integration, commissioning and maintenance of AV and IT components
Technical training for IT and AV systems and components

Your Profile:

University or comparable degree; or on-the-job education: computer science, engineering, media technology or other relevant qualification
Language(s): English, additional regional language skill is a plus
Willingness to travel in the SEA region

Technical expertise:

Advanced IT and networking expertise: SOA & ESB architecture and workflows, LAN, WAN (e.g. MPLS) routing (e.g. HSRP / VRRP, OSPF, EIGRP), Switching (VLAN)
Sound knowledge of broadcast technology systems in areas such as news, playout, postproduction and graphic with products from vendors like Avid, VizRT, Dalet and alike
Basic knowledge of current rackmount and blade server systems from major vendors
MS Windows Server solutions including Windows Cluster, DNS server, Active Directory
Storage solutions and typology: SAN, NAS, Redundancy / High Availability Concepts, SAN connectivity via FC, iSCSI and FCoE
Experience with relevant server and storage virtualization solutions
