The Role:
SECTION 2: KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support the delivery of Commissioning activities across multiple locations in Georgia and Azerbaijan.
* Develop organisational capability, succession planning and nationalisation planning within the team.
* To provide the Commissioning Manager / Project Management team with the current status and forward looking information that identifies expected performance and comparisons against performance targets.
* To support the Planning Team Lead ensuring that the schedule control and reporting processes are operated correctly and in accordance with the Planning and Scheduling Procedure and Project Coordination Procedures (PCP).

SECTION 3: MAIN ACTIVITIES & KEY DELIVERABLES

* Establish planning awareness and 'culture of planning.' Provide planning tools and reports to Project Management to facilitate decision making processes. Keep Commissioning team, Project Management and relevant Stakeholders informed of major schedule issues that have potential to impact project progress. Proactively work major schedule issues with other leadership team members.
* Support interface management for integrating scopes and stakeholders including Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, HSSE, Operations, Brownfield, and other parts of the Projects organisation.
* Implement and manage the linkages between the Commissioning plans and Activity Planning supporting Delivery Managers in delivering their responsibilities under the Activity Planning Common Process.
* Provide support to the Planning Team Lead in the developments of the Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) assurance process.
* Provide MCS updates into the monthly progress reporting structure.
* Work closely with the Construction Teams to develop Commissioning schedules and integration.
* Monitor progress and performance throughout the construction stage up to Start Up. Maintain records capable of alerting the Project of any adverse trends.
* Provide weekly and monthly reports in support of the reporting requirements

Reports to: - Planning Team Lead
Dotted reporting: - Commissioning Manager
Other Interfaces: - Engineering, PSCM, Pipelines Construction Team, Facilities Construction Team, Brownfield Delivery Team & Operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Technical Qualification/ Degree preferred
* Knowledge of computer based planning tools, e.g. Primavera / MS Project/ Microsoft suite e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Ability to initiate and promote the discipline of planning within the site locations.
* Over 10 years' experience in international onshore oil and gas projects.

* Demonstrated leadership of HSSE across multiple locations and in a multicultural environment.
* Experience of major project planning in both site and main office locations.
* Experienced in presenting to senior management, partners, governmental and other stakeholders.
