Description
We seek an experienced Country Market Manager to manage a team of Senior Market Managers and Market Managers to present Traveloka to hotels and signing them up for registration of their property. This requires a substantial time of visiting the current and potential partners. The candidate would also personally interact and acquire hotels, like the Marketing Manager. Main responsibilities:
- Developing and executing strategies to acquire hotels in Thailand with, according to the objectives of the company
- Tracking progress and modifying strategies and processes to meet targets
- Managing a team in the acquisition of hotels and maintaining good working relationships
- Setting individual and team KPI in alignment with the objectives of the company
- Executing the hotel acquisition strategies with teams of Country Market Managers and Market Managers
- Owning, developing, and managing top accounts in the destinations assigned, and ensuring the development of the team’s mutually beneficial accommodation property relationships to grow market share
- Planning with the line manager, implementing and monitoring agreed KPI’s and ability to analyse, visualise, and discuss trends, issues, and opportunities with the team manager
- understanding the industry and its developments; having a good knowledge of the pros and cons of competitor models, market trends and landscape, accommodation rate structure and yield management, connectivity options and customer booking trends
- optimising the use of processes and systems; familiarising with the spectrum of business tools and ensuring the teams use the systems
- Guiding the hotels to enter information into extranet to completion
- Working with hotels on promotional activities to raise bookings
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from accredited Universities
- Ability to manage a team to meet its performance targets
- Willingness to pay visits to customers and work outside office
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in relevant work
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with business in Hotel, Service, and Online Travel Agent
