the authority is inviting talents for the role of the director, long term business.

key responsibilities

the director, long term business is responsible for providing strategic steer and leadership for the long term business division in order to ensure effective discharge of its duties, including processing applications for authorization, supervising insurers, carrying out enforcement actions and enhancing communication with key stakeholders. he/she will advise the authority on issues and trends concerning the long term insurance business.

key requirements

the candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience working in the financial services industry (including in a regulatory agency), preferably in the insurance sector, with proven track record in resources management and leadership. he/she should have knowledge of local insurance regulatory requirements, good practices in long term insurance business and risk management. he/she must possess tertiary education or relevant professional qualifications.
