This job is for a Director of Sales and Marketing role in a 5 Star Luxury Resort, located in Maldives. The candidate qualified for this job would be responsible for the strategic driving of the business to maximize revenue, developing and managing the sales plans and strategies while building on existing accounts and making the emerging markets diverse. The achievements of this candidate would be measured on the new business targets and conversion levels, sales calls, and Resort revenue of the Sales team. The candidate would also be responsible for the teams’ management and motivation.
For this job, the candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Business Management, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Hospitality sales, and must currently be in the position of Sales and Marketing Director.

Main responsibilities:

- Maintaining a successful performance by increasing revenues, expense control, and providing the owner a return on investment
- Ensuring the goals, standards of performance, and requirements of the position of the sales department are understood
- Engaging in sales calls with the sales team members to acquire new businesses
- Developing, managing, and maintaining relationships internally and externally with the key stakeholders
- Providing leadership, every day, to the sales associates to achieve the objectives of property sales, taking full responsibility for achieving booking goals and property revenues
- Developing and implementing property-wide strategies that make the delivery of products and services meet the needs and exceeds the expectations of the customer profile and property associated target of the brand, and provides a return on investment of the Ayada Maldives
- Implementing seamless turnovers from sales to operations and back to sales again, while delivering a high level of service
- Managing the development of sales of a strategic with account planning for the market demand generators
- Executing the service marketing strategy of the brand and the applicable brand initiatives in every aspect of the sales process, and focusing on building a long-term and value-based customer relationships that would enable the hotel to achieve its sales objectives
- Participating in sales calls with the Sales and Marketing team members to acquire new business
- Providing customer intelligence in market and economic trends evaluation that may lead to sales strategy changes to meet or exceed the expectations of the client

- A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role with Luxury Resorts

- Skills in Foreign languages is a plus
- An international candidate with a limited number of visa restrictions on the passport country
- Experience with Maldives is very important
- An energetic and outgoing personality is a plus
