Global Business Travel (GBT) seeks an individual to work as the Dir Supplier Management Apac with an exciting opportunity to drive strategy and business development working with key Airline, Hotel and Car/Limo as well as getting new supplier partner in APAC based in Hong Kong. Global Supplier Relations (GSR) is a strategic component of the business model and value proposition for GBT, contributing significantly to the revenue generation and customer valuation. The Director Supplier Management & Procurement APAC will lead a high performing team for the purpose of maximizing value for GBT across Greater China & Japan, our supplier partners in his or her portfolio as well as our mutual customers.

Main responsibilities:

- Working closely with the Head of Supplier Relations APAC performing responsibility for the Director Supplier Management & Procurement.
- Managing a portfolio of travel supplier partners including the strategic regional supplier partnership with an active team across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan.
- Building and leveraging those partnerships for the purpose of strengthening our travel intermediary position as well as growing GBT revenue.
- Growing partners’ sales as well as enhancing our customer value proposition.
- Managing the market level and the regional strategies through the close coordination with Revenue Management and Supplier Optimization Teams for the purpose of maximizing shareholder returns, customer value, and supplier partner sales.
- Enhancing our supplier value proposition by effectively and efficiently engaging partners with our Client Management, Service Delivery and consulting teams to develop new business opportunities as well connecting them to our proprietary customer value programs.
- Developing and implementing new excellent strategies to bring about expansion and evaluation of our economic model.
- Driving our dependable premium compensation for the unique value of our Travel Networks to ensure delivery to both travel and travel-related partners.
- Bringing about development to our internal and external partnership to ensure the achievement of GSR and GBT business goals and objectives.

Requirements:

- An excellent command of English language with Mandarin, Cantonese or Japanese is required.
- Great leadership thought and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in both local and multi-market in managing P&L’s
- Demonstrated business development ability with a growth mindset.
- Ability to communicate excellently as well as ensure the management of relationship through collaborative skills.
- Strong result orientation, personal accountability, and MBA are preferred.
