The Role

You will oversee the entire finance function (including but not limited to accounting and tax) of the Group’s operations. This includes reviewing and improving accounting and operating procedures with appropriate internal controls and measure, ensuring all transactional activities are carried out in accordance with the generally acceptable accounting principles as well as ensuring timely preparation and accurate reporting and analysis of Group financial results and management reports (including EVA, KPI). You will also oversee the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for the Group. In addition, you will liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and relevant government authorities on audit/accounting/tax issues while assisting in any ad-hoc special assignments.

The Person

You should be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and possess a relevant Degree in Accountancy or related discipline, with at least 15 years’ working experience. You should also be well-versed in International Financial Reporting Standards. This position requires the incumbent to be hands-on and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You must also possess strong analytical skills and be meticulous with high level of integrity. Candidates with working experience in listed real estate companies will have an added advantage. Experience in using SAP and consolidation software is desired.
