1. Job Purpose:

Provides Electrical MV/LV Operation and Maintenance expertise to the Asset Operations and Maintenance Teams and ensures safe and efficient operation of the plant during all stages of the projects in accordance with standard guidelines and procedures.

2. Principal Accountabilities:

Supervises Electrical input to the development of Operation, Maintenance and Integrity Philosophies (OMI) of the projects.
Reviews/comments and approves projects design/construction packages. Coordinates and compiles comments of other discipline engineers for Electrical lead packages to ensure meeting operational objectives.
Provides technical expertise for electrical Network and Electrical System Audit. Provides day to day Electrical Engineering support and advice to the maintenance teams.
Acts as technical authority/custodian for the entire Electrical Installations/Equipment and systems, standardization.
Analyzes electrical and instrument equipment history data in terms of failure analysis and spare parts consumption.
Takes lead in condition monitoring report analysis to identify potential equipment failure and improvement opportunities.
Optimizes the delivery of Electrical Engineering and work packs for the asset. Assists in preparing Start-up and commissioning procedures for electrical systems.
Reviews the electrical equipment data's of all new plants to ensure conformity with established standard and schedule of maintenance/inspection including creation of model work orders for certification of equipment and maintenance.
Provides technical support for developing electrical equipment maintenance data base on CMMS.
Participates in the development and on the job training of UAE National develops.
Guides, directs and supervises subordinates to ensure they work to their best potential and contribute effectively as a Team.

7. Minimum Requirements (Knowledqe Skills & Experience:

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5 — 6 years' experience in maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in Offshore Engineering, Oil/Petrochemical Industry with background of modern engineering design, procurement/construction fields using latest codes and standards and application software systems. Any higher level professional affiliation like IEE/IEE is preferred.
Good knowledge of English.
