Seeking Electronic Design Engineer to assist with the development of our pas 5500 product line. This will include re-designing, creating and testing sub-systems while adhering to system specifications, costs and future planning.

In this position you will manage the development of projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The Electronic Design Engineer will introduce engineering changes to manufacturing and customer support. Responsibilities will also include supporting the supplier to ensure that changes meet the defined output and quality requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

- Technical product documentation using 3D modeling, BOM structures, and archives in order to clearly explain the design to suppliers
- Re-design and replacement of critical components, to integrate, qualify and optimize all the electronic aspects of the pas 5500 modules in order to meet the system performance
- Assist with the design and integration of test equipment and ensure that prototypes are built and testing conducted
- Create a technology bridging position between ASML headquarters & Taiwan and between the (new) suppliers in Asia and ASML
- Responsible for electronics development & quality control across multiple teams: oversee the electronic content on architectural till component level (analog, digital, & power for PCBA’s, cables, racks & cabinets)

Required Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- 5 or more years of technical experience and project management
- Experience with logical, digital, and sequential circuits
- Experience with MCU/CPU/ASIC on PCBA design in a multi-disciplinary environment (for example: measurement tools, positioning systems, multi-disciplinary assemblies, and handling systems)
- Responsible for international standards & human and machine safety
- Familiar with firmware & hardware description language development
- Experience in quality & efficiency improvement projects - both in the production and the development environments
- Experience in the usage of cad tools (AutoCAD, Unigraphics (Siemens NX) and team-center) is a preferred
