Accountabilities:
•Prepares the Region’s forecasts, budgets and long-range planning
•Provides recommendations to BU based on analysis of deviations from budgets
•Able to recognize trends and its potential future impact
•Act as Finance Business Partner by providing insightful information, advice and challenges based on facts to enable better decision making
•Provides consultancy and financial support to various company functions, country/regional finance teams and departments

Responsibilities:
•Facilitates business planning and decision making; provides financial analysis, modelling of “what if” scenarios
•Timely production of monthly forecasts of sales trends in coordination with business analysts
•Monitors actual and forecasted cost and revenues (on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis)
•Consolidates budget, latest estimate and variance analysis
•Works on long-term planning support activities
•One point of person for providing analyses and preparing reports to Corporate
•Maintaining the integrity of the Region’s reporting hierarchy and structure
•Prepares month/quarterly regional and functional reporting
•Standardizes and streamlines planning and reporting processes
•Ensures all company data is collected, derived and consolidated data from all departments in order to produce reliable forecasting and plans
•Monitors contracts (insurances, leasings, rents, etc.)
•Participates in regional and international FP&A projects
•Communicates and provides direction about financial trends and their business implications
•Provides decision support to various stakeholders (BU’s, project teams, functions)
•Supports affiliates to improve data quality and drives improvement initiatives in collaboration with global Headquarters

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
•Degree in Economics or Business Administration
•Experience of more than 5 years in FP&A in a Regional Headquarters role of an international company
•Experience in accounting, consolidation, reporting, budgeting and planning
•Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication
•Excellent user of Office Programs as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Hyperion, SAP
•Authorized to work in Hong Kong

Preferred Requirements
•Studies specialised in finance (financial analysis, controlling, accounting, consolidation)
•MBA and/or CPA would be an advantage
•Experience in various areas of finance and accounting
•Experience within an international finance department would be an asset
•Industry knowledge
•Basic know-how of applicable laws concerning business admin, taxes (esp. VAT), accounting and consolidation
•Basic knowledge of US GAAP
•Experience with SAP
•Experience with Hyperion
•Asian Language skills desirable
