Job description

as fmea expert you will be responsible to drive the focus on risk management in product and process design so that the reliability of asml products and their robustness during manufacturing and product servicing will be improved. your main tasks will be to

facilitate fmea and sra execution with a focus on function driven fmea.
coordinate fmea planning and execution on product level including fmea data analysis and reporting
consult project teams to apply fmea to identify and mitigate risks during pgp
roll out fmea improvements.

main responsibilities are:

apply fmea methodology and tooling based on asml fmea competence standard.
facilitate fmea selection & planning for asml’s product development programs.
coordinate fmea sessions and facilitate fmea execution including preparation, brainstorms and risk ranking sessions, assuring the quality of fmea.
facilitate sra process for tools.
secure fmea plan definition, maintenance and execution.
create product / project specific reporting.
monitor and track fmea planning, execution and risk mitigation closure, report and escalate when required to management to drive attention on risk management.
contribute to accumulated knowledge and expertise in all phases of new product. development in order to reduce the level of technical risks.
secure proper attention to fmea on all required layers within the organization.
secure fmea completeness and data integrity for fmea reporting consistency.
maintain fmea overviews in the tooling and provide management reports.
implement key performance indicators for fmea execution, analyze fmea data and make suggestions for fmea improvements.
establish fmea best practices for coaching and training.
support fmea knowledge transfer to the organization and provide fmea training.
execute fmea improvement activities according the fmea roadmap.

education

master or bachelor degree in engineering or science or similar through experience. preferably mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering or physics. 
six sigma green belt or higher.

experience

5 - 7 years quality engineering experience preferably within asml or in a high-tech / dynamic environment. 
proven, general technical knowledge (electronic, mechanical, physics, software,.). 
expertise and experience in product development and / or production engineering. 
expertise and experience in project management, process facilitation and process improvements. 
expertise in problem solving quality methodologies. 
expertise in machine directives and human safety risk identification. 
technical knowledge of databases. 
expertise in requirements management.
