The position will be responsible for ensuring the safety, legality and quality of all products that are being sourced and developed under our corporate brands that are consistently delivered in all our markets in Asia through the support of the home electrical appliance category of our Group General Merchandise (GMS) team.

Main responsibilities:

- Supporting the sourcing team with the aim of ensuring the execution of full diligence while selecting all GMS suppliers or products.
- Setting the appropriate specifications with our suppliers.
- Monitoring compliance and performance closely as well as conducting regular internal and external briefings and training sessions.
- Working closely with all Third Party Service providers and laboratories to establish appropriate testing and inspection requirements.
- Reviewing reports with a bid of ensuring the consistent full compliance of all products with the established regulatory standards.
- Ensuring that sourcing team is updated on a regular basis upon any regulatory changes as well as finding solutions to mitigate any risk or impact the change might have to business.
- Being responsible as a Guardian of the Group GMS Quality Program and Dairy Farm Quality Compliance Standard & Agreement for Corporate Brands GMS programs.
- Developing and implementing all the tools and training that are necessary for advancing and supporting all GMS quality-driven programs which include auditing, testing and inspection.

Skills and Experience:

- A minimum eight years solid experience in Quality Assurance, inspection, auditing, testing in Home Electrical Appliance category and preferably, ability to gain from large sourcing offices or multinational retailers.
- Formal training in both internal and external auditing is considered as a plus.
- Ability to analyse and pay attention to every basic detail as well as organising strong project management demanding communication skills.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
- Proficiency is also required in the use of MS Office like Word, Excel, PPT, etc.

Education:

- A degree holder in Engineering or Manufacturing and other related disciplines.
