Description

We seek an individual that will serve as the Human Resources Coordinator of our team for the purpose of providing Human Resources Support Services to the European office as well as providing general Human Resources Coordination Service about recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits among others. The qualified candidate will provide support to the HR Manager by getting involved in HR projects by providing guidance and recommendations based on the changes in HR legislations, trends and best practices in Belgium.

Main Responsibilities:

- Acting as a trusted advisor to Methanex Europe Organisation as well as an HR representative on cross functional teams as may be required.
- Coordinating in the interest of the company the European payroll activities which include the management of HRIS.
- Assisting in the administration of pensions and benefits program for Europe i.e. Dubai, UK, and Belgium as well as participating in the annual compensation cycle.
- Supporting HR Managers in the development and implementation of HR projects as appropriate.
- Keeping in touch with the current legislation, practices, and trends as well as bringing about the provision of timely guidance and recommendation to the organization.
- Providing a quality recruitment framework as well as conducting selection and assignments of recruit to all levels of the organization below VP level.
- Performing functions which include the preparation of job descriptions, job posting, candidate sourcing among others.
- Supporting the HR Manager with advice and guidance on the performance of optimization as well as the annual talent management process.

Position Qualifications:

- A master degree with at least three years working experience in human resources function is required.
- Knowledge and experience with benefits, pension, compensation, recruitment as well as onboarding and coaching are necessary.
- Solid written and presentation skills are required.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Great coordination of project as well as its management.
- Ability to persevere and provide services independently/
- A curious minded person with a calm and stress resistant attitude.
- Ability to manage priorities.
