UWC Maastricht has an opportunity for a qualified individual to fit in as a Mathematics Teacher who will work in line with the school’s vision, policies, and mission.

Qualifications:
- Committed to the vision and mission of the school.
- Integrity, responsibility, respect for people and environment, a good understanding of people’s cultural differences, mentorship and compassion.

Education degree:
- A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Mathematics.
- Qualification or certification as a teacheris required for accreditation.

Professional Competencies:
- A strong understanding of the teaching strategy and the subject to teach to provide an adequate education to the students.
- Ability to familiarize the students with the professional and cultural requirements for them to perform well in real life.
- Organizational and multitasking skills.
- Collaboration skills to collaborate with other staff to make the environment conducive for professional development.
- Interpersonal skills for the development of trust and students – teachers’ relationship.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills for the student's development.
- Capability to contribute effectively to the regulardevelopment of the students’ professionalism.
- A computer literate.
- Ability to speak and write English Language fluently (CEFR Level B2)
- IB MYP teaching experience and other professional experiences as a teacher.

Remuneration and Terms:
- The contract is subject to the Dutch Law.
- The contract is for two academics with a renewal opportunity.
- The position is a full time one with a remuneration that is based on your position in line with the Dutch CLA
- Pension scheme plus Tax benefit when necessary.
- 28thof August, 2017 is the commencement date for this contract.

- A Netherlands work or residence permit.
