Description
Reporting to the maintenance manager, planning and scheduling, you will lead a team comprised of program planners and maintenance and reliability (M&R) business process specialists. You will steward the effective delivery of M&R business process implementation, configure and govern preventative maintenance programs, and administer maintenance report stewardship and analytics.
Key Accountabilities
Establish M&R process expertise to steward business process management, implementation, and sustainment activities
Develop and steward our M&R maturity roadmap initiative
Enable and steward on-site coaching and support for maintenance business processes and SAP plant maintenance implementation
Facilitate maintenance reporting, analytics, and controls
Develop and deliver maintenance process learning materials
Provide support and expertise for development and implementation of maintenance master data
Required Qualifications
Experience and Education:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a heavy industrial environment; oil sands/petrochemical industry experience is an asset
Minimum five years’ senior management experience in maintenance and reliability
Degree in engineering or business management, or trade certificate in a related field
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Possess a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
Skills and Knowledge:
Deep understanding of maintenance and reliability best practices for oil sands operations
Ability to motivate and drive success by leading a team of professionals
Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office and at least one industry standard enterprise resource program; SAP is preferred
You continually seek greater knowledge about the systems, processes and hazards in the workplace, in order to understand not just what you do but why you do it
You hold others accountable, and expect others to do the same
Working Conditions
This position will be based in Calgary, Alberta at the Suncor Energy Centre on a standard Monday to Friday work week
Regular travel to site will be required
