We seek an experienced Legal Analyst to join the Pramerica Team supporting the Technology and Enterprise Contracts Law Group (TEC Law) in the Operations and Systems Legal group. This job is a high volume, fast paced environment where the qualified candidate would be responsible for the delivery of first class customer services and contract work.

Main responsibilities:

- Independently drafting, negotiating, and administering various vendor contracts, and providing high quality contract services promptly to the Prudential enterprise under the supervision of a TEC attorney in the U.S
- Delivering quality services
- Reporting
- Drafting and reviewing of contracts
- Developing the efficiency and processes of contracts
- Administration of contract
- The candidate is to work independently on vendor contracts and projects under the supervision of an attorney, and perform the following responsibilities:

o Drafting and negotiating of a broad range of contract documents such as speaker agreements, training agreements, non-disclosure agreements, work statements, consulting agreements, purchase orders, engagement schedules and amendments to master agreements, and other contract documents
o Analysing and reviewing of contracts
o Carrying out company-wide or large scale business unit initiatives that relate to issues under vendor contracting such as reviewing, analysing, and summarising of vector contracting issues associated with the Federal Reserve Oversight
o Carrying out projects related to other vendor related transactions
o Working with a template or self-service contract used the business units and corporate groups and overseeing related processes
o Overseeing, maintaining, and tracking of contract initiatives, general contract savings, contract audits, contract reporting and contract tracking
o Educating the stakeholders on the process and policies of contracts
o Managing and administering the post-contract execution

Requirements:

- Ability to prioritise and multi-task, and display organisational skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Effective prioritising of work and ability to adjust quickly to changing needs
- Proficiency in technology including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes
- Ability to understand business requirements and work well with attorneys and information technology business personnel
- Ability to identify, analyse, and summarise the terms and conditions of contracts and contract issues
- Ability to draft documents skilfully, revise agreements, and provide advice to general contracts based on the parameters of the business deal
- Ability to balance large workloads and accurately turnaround contracts promptly and on time
- Practical knowledge of technology business, services, and products
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with the U.S time as required by TEC Law Management
- Practical strategic thinking
- A Degree in Law or any equivalent field
- A minimum of 3 years’ legal-related experience in vendor contracts with law firms, accounting firms, or other corporations
