Tricel is now looking to recruit a Logistics Officer. The person will be primarily responsible for the organising and shipping of all items for dispatch. The person will be additionally responsible for the commercial and customs documentation required for shipping the items. This person will be required to co-ordinate between Production, Sales, Purchasing and Accounts to ensure that the product is ready for dispatch and when necessary organise site crew.

Responsibilities
• Liaise with manufacturing, purchasing and customer to optimise the scheduling of deliveries.
• Arranging transport to site and handling delivery issues.
• Scheduling and co-ordination of site crew.
• Produce accurate commercial and customs documentation.
• Gather information to assist in producing daily and weekly department KPIs.
• Produce relevant reports.
• Input, monitor and run reports on the ERP system.
• Partake in Lean Projects when required.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills required
• Third level qualification in a business related discipline
• Minimum of three years experience in an administration role, preferably logistics
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience of ERP systems highly advantageous
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Detail orientated individual
• Organisational skills are essential
• A team player with an ability to listen, learn and contribute
