Description

The role focuses on Customer retention and customer service, about selling the value of renewing support agreements for the products of Acronis. The candidate must by experienced in upselling offerings of higher level support and activities of cross-selling to be considered for this role. This role reports to the Manager of Maintenance Renewals Operations, located in Japan.
A candidate qualified for this job must have a successful track record of meeting and exceed individual sales quota and must prove the possession of the skills and attitude necessary to meet the assigned sales quota and achieve territorial success.

Main responsibilities:

- Achieving monthly or quarterly revenue targets by accurately forecasting and skills in sales
- Renewing the maintenance agreements directly with the end-user or by collaborating with the channel partners of Acronis whenever necessary
- Creating strong relationships with the Channel; including Distributors or Resellers, and driving their respective conversations of renewals pipeline to meet and exceed the assigned targets
- Setting strategies and tactical approaches for the maximisation of bookings for their specified territory, including an 82% industrial average
- Working very closely with Order processing to ensure the processing of maintenance orders in a timely and accurate manner consistently
- Maintaining and updating the information of customers in the Acronis CRM database
- Having thorough understanding of Acronis products, pricing, and the competition
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with the end-users and channel partners
- Informing the customers of upcoming product releases, latest version releases, and enhancements to the software using the approved communication literature or timelines
- Working collaboratively with all the internal organisations of Acronis to ensure effective and consistent communication is maintained, and the goals of the company are understood and met
- Working closely with the members of the team, and assisting with the coverage whenever considered necessary by the management of Acronis to meet the Key Performance Indicators of the team

Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience or renewal sales or inside sales in the software industry
- An understanding of the activities of maintenance renewal sales cycle from qualification to close is of high importance
- Ability to sell over the phone, while using email communication whenever necessary to support the phone conversation
- A professional demeanour and a work ethic is very important
- A detail-oriented and well-organized individual
- Ability to work independently, with supervision whenever needed
- An exceptional oral and written communication skills
- A work style approach that is target oriented
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- A practical knowledge of Microsoft offices such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and CRM applications
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Native Japanese as a language and good communication skills in English is a plus
