Description
PepsiCo has a vacant role for a Sales Management Associate. The candidate qualified for this role would be provided a specific on-boarding training schedule, and would be encouraged to engage in the activities of internal networking with the Senior Leadership team. The candidate would have access to a variety of new models within the Beverage, Foods and Corporate environments. This means that the candidate can support power brands like Tropicana, Gatorade, Quaker & Frito-Lay and still work at PepsiCo
Main responsibilities:
- Interacting with the Customers successfully, and selling in effectively and executing Sales Programs and initiatives
- Leading the district meetings that are focused on plans to achieve the objectives of the sales and other goals
- Conducting periodic meetings with the sales representatives to discuss performance and gap closure
- Conducting ""work-withs"" and coaching sessions with the frontline to develop their selling and customer service skills and efficiencies
- Collecting, charting and interpreting statistical data. Managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Preparing and delivering presentations of sales to Customers as necessary
- Demonstrating a strong leadership skill to coach, develop and influence the various teams
- Learning the PepsiCo selling foundation, using fact-based selling skills and delivering an exceptional customer service
- Using creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset to grow the volume and revenue to achieve the assigned area’s Key Performance Indicators
- Activating the local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions by merchandising products and building creative displays
- Standing, walking, reaching, and squatting throughout the work day for about 10-12 hours
- Working with various schedules, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
Requirements:
- An individual currently pursuing a degree in Professional Selling, Sales Management, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and other related fields
- Experience in selling and customer service on- or off-campus either by part-time jobs, internship, or academic clubs
- A proven leadership throughout academic career, either on- or off-campus
- Ability to work with flexible schedules, and flexibility in relocating; to allow for greater opportunities for advancement
- Willingness and ability to drive a step van for 4-6 months during training and on the job as required
- Pass an online sales assessment to be considered for the job (link would be provided)
- Finishing up the final year of undergraduate studies
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree before the full time start date intended
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to drive to various sales locations for duration of time on the job
- Eligibility to work in the United States without receiving a present work authorization sponsorship or anytime in the future
- At least 21 years of age
- Successfully pass a drug screen test and background investigation, including a Motor Vehicle Report which indicates a clean driving record for the past three years
- Ability to lift 25 - 45 pounds repeatedly whenever required in daily execution
