We seek an experienced US citizen for the role of PMO Manager. The qualified candidate for the position would lead a team of Project and Program Managers, and make sure that the projects are delivered successfully to allow the execution of business strategy. The candidate would strategically direct a team of Project and Program Managers of SAP that is responsible for delivering projects and programs on the stipulated time and within the committed quality and cost. The candidate is to be accountable for the project portfolios your team executes. The candidate would act as the key contact for certain enterprises in Cargill to assess the demand for the project and assist in aiding the intake process of the project.
The candidate must have professional knowledge of managing projects, the portfolio management, and project delivery process of Cargill to proactively direct and mentor the Program Managers who are also leading large-scale complex projects, where some of these projects are multi-locational - or – functional and encompasses several business units.
The candidate must consistently and appropriately use the processes,methods, and tools of project management. There would also be a focus on the improvements of project management processes, realization of project value, and other adoption of project metric with budget responsibilities on a monthly basis

Main responsibilities:

- People Management (40%):
o Developing the team to enhance performance and long term engagement
o Enrolling new talent
o Managing and directing the members of the team about Cargill Leadership Expectations, guiding principles and values
o Accountability for talent and performance management and planning of succession
- Portfolio Leadership (25%):
o Responsibility for the portfolio, in full, of the projects managed by your team
o Making sure that the objectives and scopes of the projects are associatedwith every project the portfolio contains
o Working as the resource manager and ensuring that the capacity of project management for the projects’ portfolio is properly managed
o Making a view on Project Management Resources availability to handle the demand for the administration of a new project
- Project Control (25%):
o Leading the project and program managers in using the management framework of the Project of PDP Cardill
o Making sure that the projects are delivered timely, on budget, and at a high customer satisfaction level
o Making sure that signature projects are focused on because of the region and aligning the resources of top talent and control of project for delivery
- Improvement of Project Management Process (10%):
o Supporting the consistent improvement of the intake of the project work and management of demand for your projects’ portfolio
o Ensuring excellence in operation for Project Management, which includes the use of Agile procedures inside the team to boost performance

Requirements:

- A minimum of 10 years’ experience to include complex and large scale management
- Ability to work internationally
- A good knowledge of ERP implementations
- Professional understanding of the standards of Portfolio practices and Project Management
- Professional understanding of the methodologies of Project and its Delivery, which includes Waterfall and Agile
- At least 2 -3 years as a supervisor, with the ability to lead and develop teams
- A sound knowledge of SAP and the implementations of the projects of SAP
