Applicants should have (i) a PhD’s degree in robotics or mechatronics; (ii) demonstrable experience in robotic system development; (ii) experience in either mechanical design, modeling and analysis, or robot motion control; (iv) strong analytical, writing and presentation skills; (v) high self-motivation and team work spirit; (vi) the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Experience in medical robots development and animal test will be advantageous.

The appointee will work in the Department of Surgery and the Chow Yuk Ho Technology Centre for Innovative Medicine.

Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
