The group of Liang Guo in the Department of Marketing at the Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking applications for Postdoctoral

Fellow position in Behavioral Economics or Neuroeconomics. Our research objective is to provide an integral theoretical framework to rationalize various behavioral anomalies of preference construction (e.g., context effects, anchoring effect, and preference reversals), risk preference, and time preference. To this end, the research will involve the development of normative decision making models, and the testing of theoretical predictions using empirical methods in experimental economics and/or neuroscience.

The applicant should have (i) Ph.D. in relevant fields; (ii) solid background in Behavioral Economics and/or Euroeconomic methods (EEG, MRI). Knowledge of computational neuroscience would be desirable; and (ii) excellent record of research experience and potential.

The appointee will conduct collaborative research under the supervision of Professor Liang Guo. The position is primarily devoted to research, with no teaching and minimal administrative duties.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
