We seek applications for the position of the Programme Manager who will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide project initiatives as well as coordinating the delivery of related large-scale IT and business projects.

About the Job:

The successful candidate is expected to have experience in Programme and Project Management as well excellent communication skills, leadership ability and a track record of project delivery. He will also need to demonstrate experience in organizational awareness, financial management, project governance and vendor management as the case may be. Apart from this, the successful candidate will be an individual with a technical project experience that is highly critical to the role and will be required to demonstrate knowledge in change management, risk management or release management.

Main Responsibilities:

- Governing, controlling and overseeing multiple IT projects.
- Influencing strategic, as well as business development as the case, may be.
- Ensuring the management of stakeholders in the interest of the company.
- Improving process for the management of the program.
- Managing, planning and tracking financials as the case may be.
- Managing people and performance as well as Vendor.
- Ensuring executive reporting as at when due.
- Utilizing resources for the purpose of bringing about optimization in the profits of the company.
- Managing risk in the interest of the company.

Skills or experience:

- A minimum of seven years’ project experience in either IT, financial services or insurance sector is of the essence.
- Ability to influence and motivate peers and senior managers in partner organization as well as the possession of leadership skills.
- Being articulate, confident and assertive in what is done.
- Exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal form.
- Experience in the management of multiple large-scale software development projects.
- Process driven with a focus on quality and product delivery as the case may be.
- Experience in Global Corporate business is the beneficiary.
- Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of operating at a senior level either within Pramerica or anywhere.
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with non-IT and IT business and technical stakeholders with the customer at hand.
- Being self-motivated with an ability to work in teams as well as meeting tight deadlines as the case may be.
- Possession of enthusiasm and willingness to learn new disciplines.
- Ability to be a strong independent contributor as well as being able to lead high performing teams as the case may be.
- Possession of strategic, operational and technical management skills when necessary.
- Ability to work flexibly and rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
- Ability to demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to technical solutions.
- Ability and wiliness to adapt their normal working hours as may be required to facilitate meetings with US colleagues.
- Experienced in introducing and implementing various software development and project management methodologies.
- A Third Level Degree in IT or Business.
- A recognised certification in Project, Programme or Portfolio Management.
- Ability to travel to the US for business as may be required as well as up to date passport with at least six months to expiration is essential.
