Description

This job requires a candidate to provide support and advice to the account operational teams and the wider business in areas such as Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (QHS&E) compliance and assurance.

Main responsibilities:

- Assisting with the implementation of the policies, procedures, guidance notes, and standards of Macro QHSE
- Assisting with the account QHSE compliance registers in the country in which they are operating

- Assisting in prequalifying new and existing supply chain partners
- Assisting in creating and coordinating annual audits and inspection schedules for accounts, undertaking and providing supports for operational audits whenever required
- Participating in developing new standards that are in line with the corporate standards, and ensuring that compliance is ongoing
- Training the staff of Mace Macro in all areas of QHSE, with different medias, to ensure the competence of the account team
- Liaising with colleagues in developing, reviewing, and maintaining of standards for processes and procedures, including links to the standards of the Mace Group
- Documenting and processing
- Promoting the QHSE management systems to all staff
- Coordinating meetings and forums of QHSE, and ensuring attendance and producing minutes whenever required
- Assisting with monthly reports of QHSE including accounts and Mace
- Analyzing reporting results, audits, corrective actions, and operational reports
- Coordinating the account communication on updates of the system, changes in legislation, and other business updates
- Communicating and supporting the KPIs, objectives, and targets of Account QHSE
- Identifying and communicating areas of improvement and best practices
- Attending QHSE forums and meetings of Mace Group
- Supporting the accounts of Mace Macro on the close out of any corrective actions
- Leading the investigations of incidents, and ensuring all paperwork associated is completed on time
- Preparing alerts and action findings
- Understanding and supporting the growth and development of Macro
- Highlighting any risks that might damage the reputation or financial standing of Macro, and suggesting mitigating corrective actions
- Approaching activities proactively, and working flexibly to support the account teams
- Liaising and communicating with the teams, supply chain, and service partners of Macro
- Supporting the QHSE department of Mace Macro to provide a more effective data analysis to enable continual improvement
- Identifying and supporting all risk areas actively

Requirements:

- A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Management
- Professional memberships in the mentioned fields is an advantage
- A general industry Certified Safety and Health Specialist
- A minimum of OSHA 30 Hours
- Qualifications in Environmental Management is a plus
- Occupational Safety and Health auditor qualifications
- A proficient computer skill, including Microsoft Office Suite
- A satisfactory organization, prioritization, and planning skills
- Skills in record management is a plus
- An excellent oral and written communication skill
- Ability to work individually and with a team, as necessary
- Ability to learn and adapt new software that is non-Microsoft

- A membership with the American Society of Safety Engineers
- Environmental qualifications and membership is a plus
- An understanding of the market and services of the facilities management
