The right person who will serve as the Senior Accountant of our company will be in charge of the local Accounting by ensuring that all the processes and other activities relating to it are completed and supervised. You will be instrumental in making sure that all the objectives for the Accounting department are met and achieved every month. You will also be responsible for any possible analysis or reconciliation which may be requiredas to some activities which often include payroll accounting.

You will be held accountable for the Intercompany accounting making sure that you balance, reconcile and analyze all the necessary entries to avoid any mistake or error on your part.

Other responsibilities
- Ensure account reconciliations and correct any account that is not balanced alongside with the help of the Human Resources Department.
- Verify all the balance sheet account to ensure their correctness and accuracyin relation to the company’s Payroll.
- Be responsible for the provision of System Support (End-user) to the local users.
- Provide the required support for all the Treasury activities,
- Assist the controller with tax accounting activities.
- Collaborate with other relevant departments, organizations, and groups as may be required by the group in GL or AP activities.
- Provide reports on the monthly results to the colleagues and managers as may be deemed necessary.
- Review AP invoice to know if it is accurate and valid before it is approved.
- Prepare the reports which show capital expenditure, tracking of fixed asset among others in line with the laid down policies of the company.

Requirements:
- At least three years working experience in a similar role.
- Professional certification,e.g., CPA.
- A Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business, and any other similar field.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and other accounting systems.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
