We seek an experienced Senior Manager to conduct market studies, develop business plans, and identify profitable projects

Main requirements:

- Serving as the champion of commercialization to drive the commercialization efforts of medical and healthcare technology related projects
- Conducting studies in the market to identify the unmet needs or opportunities of the market
- Identifying or scouting for high value and commercialization potential projects
- Developing business plans, funding strategies, and defining clear exit strategies for undertaken projects
- Sourcing for funds including government grants and from investors, to support the commercialization needs of the projects
- Implementing business plans whenever necessary
- Building, leading or mentoring a team
- Performing other administrative works as assigned.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in technology commercialization roles, especially in the medical device and healthcare fields, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a business leader in this role
- A proven track record of securing funding for starter technology companies, and working with start-ups, investors, research institutes, and researchers is of high importance
- A proven track record of bringing early stage breakthrough medical and healthcare technologies to a profit generating phase is of high importance
- Experience and knowledge of medical and healthcare products development process is desired, but should not be limited to the regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership and people skills
- A driven and resourceful individual with flexibility and entrepreneurial skills, that enjoys working with hands
- Ability and willingness to work with and mentor researchers undertaking endeavors in entrepreneurship
- Strong skills in communication and presentation are of high importance
