About the Job:

DPS Engineering seeks applications from qualified people to fill the position of a Senior Project Engineer being a requirement which DPS Engineering have with a South Leinster Based Pharmaceutical Client. The Engineer, upon appointment, will manage a portfolio of small to medium onsite projects which range from fill finish/process related projects, black and clean utility upgrades, site infrastructure, electrical upgrades and minor CSa works.

Main Responsibilities:

- Preparing capital and expense project plans as well as estimates for the projects when required.
- Ensuring the timely execution of capital projects in a safe and cost effective manner in compliance with the requirements of the customers and the regulatory standard.
- Putting in place and utilizing systems properly in a bid to manage the cost and schedules of the project portfolio.
- Supervising the Outsourced Engineering Provider and A&E/C&Q Resources in the management of capital & expense projects to ensure compliance with financial, safety, environmental, GMP requirements and corporate engineering standards and expectations.
- Monitoring, reporting, managing, seeking the continuous improvement of the performance of the OEP and any other aECM firms used in executing the projects.
- Ensuring that there is a strong safety & contractor management in the execution of engineering projects.
- Ensuring that safety, environmental, and GMP training is provided to on-site contract installation personnel.
- Ensuring the correct supervision of the on-site contract installation personnel in the execution of the projects.
- Ensuring strict adherence to Site Change Control procedures as well as project specific plans and procedures.
- Using the GES roadmap, as appropriate, to drive efficient project execution.
- Working to continuously improve project execution performance including working with the Ireland Regional Engineering Team to identify savings opportunities across the current Ireland sites.

Experience and skills:

- Experience in Lean Six Sigma Methodology is desired. Knowledge of regulatory Irish, European, and International Codes, Standards and Practices are required.
- A SaP knowledge and experience are of the preferred.
- Knowledge about Equipment and process Validation are of the essence.
- Ability to perfectly complete sterile filling processes and equipment in a top notch manner.
- Experience in Strong Project Management.

Education:

- A Bachelor Degree in a related Engineering discipline or higher degree is preferred.
