Description

The role will have a focus on providing contractor oversight to ensure project execution to Ichthys HSSE standards and within quality, schedule and cost objectives. As well as overseeing and assist the contractor in developing and implementing RFT procedures and processes.

This Darwin based position is to be offered on a residential or rotational (26/9) contractor basis.

Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide Right First Time oversight for all work for the ICHTHYS project including Vendors, module fabricators, and Construction Contractors / Subcontractors.
Oversee and assist the Contractor in developing and implementing RFT procedures and Processes.
Assist in the oversight of the EPC Contractor RFT process and procedures during fabrication, assembly, testing and delivery of the Ichthys project
Monitor all RFT activities, ensuring compliance with the relevant Company and Statutory requirements.
To ensure that the Lessons Learned database is populated, managed and reported upon as per the project standards and procedures
To review the RFT works in all worksites, including planned and ad-hoc audits to confirm that all RFT activities are being performed in accordance with project principles, procedures and specifications
Confirm that all subcontractors implement contractors RFT system correctly and comply with project specifications and requirements
Work with RFT focal points and champions (Contractor, Project Engineering, Construction and Commissioning personnel) to identify risks, drive correction, and prevent similar risks in other areas.
Identify and highlight any risks, opportunities or threats that may have an impact on project delivery within cost, quality or schedule objectives, including start-up phase. Assist in the development and implementation of contingency plans as appropriate to maintain performance objectives.
Develop and update weekly / monthly performance management reporting to monitor progress on key performance indicators (KPI’S) & critically analyze data.
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent experience in commissioning/Completions of Oil / Gas facilities
Extensive supervisory experience in Commissioning, Pre-commissioning and construction of onshore/offshore projects.
Extensive broad experience in onshore / offshore projects
Experience with Quality assurance systems and methodologies
Extensive experience with developing and maintaining reporting and documentation systems
