our clients have been established over 30 years and have built a formidable reputation for a delivering excellent projects on time for a massive portfolio of clients. with a very knowledgeable team our client has current projects across industrial and commercial, aged care and education. they are currently looking to appoint an sm to manage 1 of 3 newly secured projects in aged care and renewable energy. which one will depend on the strengths of the successful applicant.

role:

this role will require you to work as an effective part of the overall site team.

oversee a team of foremen and engineers
ensure the work is completed on time, to budget and desired quality
manage site health & safety
manage subcontractors
produce site diary's and progress reports
attend and chair some management and progress meetings
sound & comprehensive understanding of construction industry and the parties to it
good knowledge of standard forms of contract

person:

experienced of working in the same or similar role for a tier 1, 2 or 3 contractor is preferred
strong construction site management experience
having worked on aged care, education, industrial or commercial will be a clear advantage
leadership and management experience
the ability to work to and meet deadlines
implement all aspects of health & safety
well organised, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity
