Linum consult’s client is an international firm well established in africa. they are urgently looking for a site project manager to oversee their site in zambia.

responsibilities

managing the on-site staff, including fleet managers, trainees, and technicians
overseeing recruitment and training of personnel where necessary
managing health & safety, quality, and risk management procedures
managing the maintenance team; implementing maintenance systems, carrying out scheduled inspections of all equipment in cooperation with the relevant fleet managers, and ensuring the workshop and tools are kept in good order
handling product support communications and supporting the parts sales & services team where necessary
submitting regular reports to senior management and attending progress meetings

profile

10 years in a similar position
degree from an established university in business management or similar subject is essential
background of working in the equipment distribution sector, preferably with mining companies
strong experience of people management and operations
strong communication skills in spoken and written english
