Job Description

To call on Consultant Engineers, Architects, Government Departments and Client bodies to allow Fosroc products to be specified.

To liaise closely with the sales team when calling on prospective customers at the pre-tender stages in order that a Fosroc product submission can be made.

Where competitor's products have been specified, the jobholder will make counter proposals with appropriate supporting documentation.

To introduce new products to major Contractors, Consultant Engineers, Architects and Client bodies

To produce and deliver technical presentations.

To produce and deliver product training presentations to Fosroc staff or clients.

To participate in the monthly sales meetings in support of the BPM processes.

Compilation of reports and forecasts as required. Including project pipelines and Sales Action Plans.

Develop and implement specification plan that is aligned with the Group Strategic Goals specifically in terms of growth and market share. To feed into the 5 year rolling Business Plan.

Awareness of competitors activities and identify relevant threats and opportunities.

Key Skills and Experiences

Civil Engineering qualification or appropriate experience.
5 years experience managing and promoting high specification industrial products.
3 years working experience as a Specification/Sales Manager in the Building and Construction industry.
Experience in the construction chemical products sector
Able to work under pressure and promote good teamwork with other colleague & division member
