We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Vice President Rates Trading, Global Market (GCB5)

Provide the best support to Sales in winning more market share from both Corporate and FI clients.
Frequently provide sales team with updated market colour and traders' view to support sales in pitching clients' business
Continue developing relationship with respective regulators (SBV Fex control, SBV Monetary policy and MoF's banking and FI dept)
Share information, sales/trading ideas, market news, research with the team and client groups.
External & Internal Clients: networks, develops and nurtures client relationships, anticipates and identifies their needs
Internal Collaboration: Develops close and effective working relationships within respective Regions/ Countries/Functions /Global Businesses
Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, quality or the way teams and individuals work together.
Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures.
Apply policies, procedures, practices and standards to their allocated tasks, taking responsibility for their own actions, to ensure the achievement of high levels of quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Five to ten years experience in Global Banking and Markets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Vietnamese), 3rd language will be preferred
Excellent relationship management skills with experience of interacting with senior management of customers (CEO's, Regional Treasury)
Proven track record of managing customers
Customer service and team skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered
An ability to get things done

Possess planning, organisation and time management abilities
Possess high integrity and conduct mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Vietnamese), 3rd language will be preferred
